The following races are being contacted to renew there entry in this years race series: Haliburton, Cannington, Kearney, Marmara, Kemptville.
Standings will be determined bases on your best 3 races.
Ski-joring Category
This category is new within the OFSS Race Series. The following races are being contacted to ask if they are interested in entering into this category in this years race series: Haliburton, Marmora, Kearney, Cannington, Newboro, Kemptville.

Recreation Category
This category is new within the OFSS Race Series. The following races are being approached and asked to add a recreation race to there events. Haliburton, Cannington, Newboro, Kearney, Kemptville, Bancroft, and Marmora. The races at these events are for non-professionals, will have no purse money, will be racing for prizes only. At the end of the season the OFSS will be awarding trophies and prizes to this series participants. This will be a six dog sprint race.

Mid-Distance Category
The following races are being contacted to renew there entry in this years race series: Eldorado, Newboro, Kearney, Bancroft, Marmora.
Standings will be determined bases on your best 3 races.
ONTARIO FEDERATION OF SLED DOG SPORTS RACE SERIES
Sprint Races, Ski-joring Categories:
- Only members of the OFSS will be included in this series.
- You must be a registered member of the OFSS for the current race year.
- You must be a registered member before Jan 01 of each new year.
- You will receive 5 points for starting a race. (Leaving the start line.)
- You will receive 5 points for finishing the race.
(This means both days if it is a two day race.)
- Points are based on your finishing place in a race verses the number of OFSS members in that race.
(Example: If you place 3rd in a race and there was 20 members in that race then you would receive 5 points for starting + 5 points for finishing + 18 points for your finishing place = 28 points for that race.)
- Points will be award to the drivers.
- If for some medical reason a driver is unfit to participate then it must be brought to the attention of a member of the OFSS executive prior to the race. A substitute drive must then be named to replace the injured driver.
- Your best three races out of the events presented will be used to calculate your point total for the year.

Non Professional: A racers who is not registered to compete in a professional class (4, 6, 8, skijoring, mid-distance categories) at the same event as they are registered as a Recreational Racer.
Registration Fees: Race Series Registration Fees are covered under your membership/ family membership, except if your membership has more than one member participating in the race series. An additional registration fee of $10.00 is required for each additional family member you would like entered in the race series.
